    Maryland Transit Administration Police recently stopped an attempted break-in at the Owings Mills Metro Subway Station parking lot. Using the newly acquired, electric-battery operated Freedom Scooters, MTA Police interrupted the attempt by six suspects to break into a vehicle resulting in their apprehension and arrest. The scooters supplement current patrol techniques and allow patrol officers easier movement throughout the Metro parking lots.
