Lambretta Scooters

Shops have been alerted after morning post contained nude photos delivered by naked men on Lambretta scooters

The instant camera snaps of a naked man including close-ups were posted through the letter box of Thomas Cook in North Street and staff immediately passed them on to police. Thomas Cook spokeswoman Debbie Martin confirmed her staff at Sudbury had received what she described as "indecent" photos.

"Any matter which involves our staff is treated with urgency and the photos were immediately handed to the police who are now investigating the matter."

Police are advising people to contact them immediately if they receive any such photographs. The prints should be handled as little as possible, put in a plastic bag and taken to the nearest police station. Alternatively, police can be contacted and an officer will arrange to collect the pictures.

Police spokeswoman Lisa Wilson said:

"This is not considered to be malicious and, although the man is nude, it is not considered pornographic. It appears to be a prank."

Meanwhile, in Boxford, police are hunting a man who exposed himself to a teenager while riding a motorcycle. The man was on a Lambretta scooter and was wearing a red crash helmet with a visor when he exposed himself to the 13-year-old girl in Hadleigh Road, Boxford.

He is described as white, aged between 16 and 20 years.
