ZAP offers 'All-American ZAPPY' fast electric scooters to assist American Red Cross

To assist in relief efforts related to the September 11 terrorist attacks, electric vehicle maker ZAP (ZAPP - news) is now offering the "All-American ZAPPY," a red, white and blue limited edition electric scooter with Old Glory flying off the fender.

Show your support for the U.S.A. with this limited edition scooter, available for $599 -- $100 of the proceeds will be donated to The American Red Cross.

ZAP headquarters in Sebastopol, Calif. will be including an American flag with the purchase of a ZAP electric vehicle during October 2001. The flag will either be an antenna flag or static adhesive sticker and is only available while supplies last.
